this says a lot coming from a guy who lived in Spain, Italy, and Jersey (actually NJ is so pretty with its pine barrens and paul's farm). it is surreal...this city is amazing. we spent the first morning napping; having jet lag and a little headache from all the champagne air france serves. so our first explorations of the city were spent with a perfect low angle evening light with few people on the streets. we made up for our naps the second day...17 hours of walking and exploring...
